How to Make Madeleines
Maybe before reading this post, you should make yourself a cup of tea. It just seems appropriate for talking madeleines.
Madeleines are cake-like cookies…or are they cake in cookie form? How you answer that question doesn’t matter much because either way, they are perfection.
My favorite madeleines are vanilla and almond flavor. Lemon is also traditional…and exquisite. No matter the flavor, you’re going to want a madeleine pan to get that pretty scalloped shape. It doesn’t take up much room, and it’s totally worth having to make these beauties.
Dip them in chocolate? Yes, please.
I’m sharing more about madeleines, my recipe (+ variations) over on The Pioneer Woman Food & Friends today. Pour yourself a cuppa and go check it out!
